Michael Garcia joined the Walsh team as a managing partner of a subsidiary business, Better Booster Clubs, which he continues to serve on a part-time basis. Michael’s experience in fundraising and development, his leadership and relationship skills, combined with his strong commitment to his faith makes him an invaluable asset to the Walsh team and the churches we serve.
Prior to joining Walsh & Associates, Michael worked as a Business Analyst for Target Corporation where he was tasked with the forecasting, ordering, supply-chain and inventory management and analysis for multiple multi-million dollar businesses.
Michael graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Bloomberg Businessweek No. 1 ranked Undergraduate Business School, Mendoza College of Business, and also earned a minor in Theology while in South Bend. He is a modern day “Rudy” of sorts, because at Notre Dame, he was a walk-on football player for the Fighting Irish where he played for three seasons, eventually making the travel roster and contributing on specials teams.
A transplant from both Southern California and Colorado Springs, Michael enjoys visiting and spending quality time with his family when possible. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and staying active and loves talking all things Irish, especially in the fall. Michael is an active participant in his home parish, the Basilica of St. Mary, in Minneapolis, MN, where he is involved in the ministries. He also volunteers his time as a board member for his condominium association and is a member of the Notre Dame Club of Minnesota Young Alumni Committee.
