Mary Nienhaus

Mary Nienhaus joined Walsh & Associates in July, 1999 and has served as its Office Manager and Assistant Managing Director since that time. In addition to overseeing accounts receivables and payables and assisting the President in preparing annual budgets, Mary researched and instituted an employee benefits program and streamlined and organized the company’s computer files. She was also instrumental in the development of the “WalshWareTM Campaign Management Software” system and developed an Administrative Manual explaining its features and how to use it. Mary also works closely with the field consultants and clients in troubleshooting computer issues and in editing and refining reports and other documents for the campaigns. Prior to joining the company, Mary worked as Office Manager for the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce and successfully managed the organization on three separate occasions in the absence of the President.

Mary provides a strong background in office management and client relations. In addition, she understands how to work with and motivate volunteers because of her involvement on numerous committees and boards, as well as her organization and planning of a variety of fund raising events. Her strengths are her organizational abilities, financial knowledge and communication skills.

Mary and her husband, Skip, live in Burnsville and have two grown children both of whom currently reside out of state. Over the years she has been involved in her community, in her children’s school and sports activities as well as her church. She had a strong Christian upbringing and graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business Administration.
